| Lucy Charlish has
extensive personal experience within the family
courts as a litigant in person, and has a robust
understanding of the family court process. Lucy
has two children and has navigated this process
through her own divorce. She is currently undertaking a PhD
alongside teaching at the University of
Manchester after 20 years’ experience in
industry. Lucy has worked in a wide range of
retailers from start-ups to global organisations,
with expertise in buying and merchandising. She
has a proven track record of driving both
turnover and profit growth through identifying
and implementing strategies and business
improvement opportunities.
Lucy’s current
personal experience combined with her
professional roles have provided her
with excellent transferable skills for the
role of a McKenzie Friend; she is both
empathetic and professional, with the ability to
focus on the client’s needs. Her
passion for building collaborative
relationships within her professional roles
has further aided her through the
family court process, striving to pass these
skills onto her clients through support and
guidance.
