Going to court can be a stressful experience and sometimes, the only alternative might be to be a Litigant In Person. Ruby is a Mckenzie Friend who encourages and helps Litigants In Person in court.

Ruby is a University of London Law Graduate, a Bar Vocational Course Graduate from City University, London, an accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator from the London School of Mediation and a qualified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Lifeskill Coach.

Ruby worked for several years in law firms specialising in Family, Immigration and Criminal Law where she assisted and supported clients in various family, immigration and criminal matters.

Following her completion of the Master of Laws LLM LPS at the BPP University, London, Ruby continues to assist, support and mentor Litigants in Person in completing court applications, drafting documents, helping clients prepare for court hearings and attending court with the client using various skills such as active listening, communication, drafting, research, time management and including NLP Life-skill Coaching skills.

Philip Kedge is a retired police Chief Inspector and the founder and director of the McKenzie Friend UK Network. His aim is to take family court matters out of the hands of lawyers with an ethical business to reduce conflict and acrimony, to provide access to cost effective McKenzie Friend national services and to reduce the emotional harm to children.
