I have been a McKenzie Friend since 2017 and in that time have supported people through both family and civil court.

I am passionate about persuading people heading towards court that solicitors are not required.

During my career, I have worked and lived all over the world in a number of different industry sectors.  This includes industry where protocols and processes were critical so ensuring compliance with the family and civil court regime is one of my strengths.

I ask my clients to regard court as a mountain and me as a sherpa.  They must climb the mountain themselves but I will guide them.  The advantage we have is that I have climbed it many times before.    

In addition to being a McKenzie Friend I am also a relationship counsellor and own a counselling practice in the East Midlands.  This gives me the people skills to work with clients empathetically and lessen the anxiety and stress along the way. 

As a McKenzie Friend, my relationship with the client is not them and me, it is us.  

I am twice divorced and have a grown-up daughter.
